What are the payment rules?
All jobs must be paid for in full when the order is approved for printing. No job will be allowed to print until payment has been secured.
When is payment processed?
All orders are paid for in full in advance. Your credit card will be charged for the full amount immediately.
Do you offer Net 30?
Yes — approved B2B accounts can be set up with Net 30 terms, PO billing, and consolidated monthly invoicing. Open an account at /b2b/.
What is the average turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is 2–3 working days for most orders. Same-day / next-day 24-hour turnaround is always available. Rush fees apply.
What's the cut-off time for same-day printing?
The deadline for submitting a same-day order is 3pm PST. All same-day orders must be print-ready, with no technical issues. If an order isn't to specifications, we may need to push it to the next business day.
What file types can I send?
Preferred format is PDF. We also accept PSD, PDF, EPS, TIFF, and JPG. Files should be 300 DPI (resolution), CMYK (color format), with 1/8" bleed around the entire artwork for cutting.
What resolution do you require?
We will only print files provided at 300 DPI.
What color mode do you need?
Digital printing accepts both RGB and CMYK files. Offset printing requires all files to be provided in CMYK color mode.
My files are very large — how do I send them?
Two options: our FTP at ftp.indieprinting.com, or our WeTransfer channel at indieprinting.wetransfer.com.
Can you send me a proof?
Only upon request. E-proofs and printed proofs are available when requested and may add to turnaround. Proofs are for reviewing layout, content, size, positioning, spelling, image placement, trim, and general artwork; they are not color-match or final printed-color guarantees.
What type of printing do you do?
Three core capabilities: (1) Offset — plate-based production for larger runs and selected paper options. (2) Digital — many paper options, short runs, and fast turnaround. (3) Large-format — inkjet production for vinyl, banners, and rigid graphics.
Offset vs digital — which is right for my job?
Digital is generally the best fit for short runs under 2,500 pieces, flexible paper choices, and quick turnaround. Offset often becomes more economical on larger runs and supports process-ink and spot-ink specifications.
What other printing methods do you offer?
Letterpress, silk-screen, and 1-color or 2-color PMS printing are all available on request.
Can I print with metallic or specialty inks?
Yes — we can print up to 7 process colors including metallic inks, fluorescent inks, spot colors, and Pantones.
What paper stocks can I choose?
We commonly use coated stocks for most products; uncoated stocks are always available. All of our stocks are manufactured using post-consumer or recycled materials.
What are your digital printing paper options?
Matte, uncoated, gloss, and coated options across text and cover weights, with finishes ranging from smooth to tactile. Full range detailed at /eco/ and /products/.
What are your offset printing paper options?
Offset printing provides two standard paper options: 14pt gloss-coated cardstock and 100lb gloss book text-weight paper stock. Specialty stocks quoted separately.
Do you offer eco-friendly paper?
Yes — 100% recycled paper, paper manufactured from hemp (imported from Colombia), and paper made from sugarcane fibers (bagasse). Full details at /eco/.
What are your pickup hours?
Indie Printing is open Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm PT. Saturday pickup is available by appointment.
Can you ship anywhere?
We ship anywhere in the continental US using our preferred carriers: UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
Do you deliver locally?
Yes — our hybrid Prius fleet delivers to any address in LA County, Orange County, and Riverside County.
Can you drop-ship to multiple locations?
Yes — split-ship to event venues, branches, or franchisees. Give us the addresses and quantities per location when you submit your order.
Do you use a preferred courier?
We don't have a preferred courier — use whichever one you like. Many of our customers use a range of LA courier services for same-day intra-city delivery.
